THE OVERVIEW/THE QUICK-TAKE
The first New York City hotel from the ever-hip Viceroy Hotels and Resorts, Viceroy Central Park New York is one of the City’s most stylish hotels – full of Art Deco glamour and gilded charm – located at the nexus of Midtown Manhattan and the Upper East Side, a short walk from Central Park.

THE LOCATION
Perfectly positioned on Manhattan’s 57th Street, one of the City’s main and more exclusive arteries, Viceroy Central Park New York sits where the Upper Eastside and Midtown East neighbourhoods meet. It’s ideally located to engage in some of New York’s most iconic pastimes, including world-class shopping in the chic boutiques lining 5th and Madison Avenues, and jaunts to Central Park, which is just two-blocks north of the hotel’s gold-trimmed doors.

THE LOOK AND FEEL
You’d be correct in thinking that Jay Gatsby would be right at home in the hotel, which takes up a 29-storey onyx tower. Imagined by the much-acclaimed design firm Roman and Williams, the property looks like it stepped out of another era with its marble floors, bronze fixtures, black and gold accents, and Art Deco details inspired by 1920’s and 30’s New York. The look might be fabulously old school, but the amenities in rooms and public spaces are anything but. Wood-panelled rooms are outfitted with 40” Samsung Smart TVs, Beats by Dr. Dre sound systems (including docking stations), Illy espresso makers, and bathroom products by cult brand Neil George; while the gym features equipment from Technogym.

THE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
High Style in Spades
The hotel’s glam Art Deco, New York-of-the-1920’s-and-30’s design easily makes the Viceroy Central Park New York one of the most stylish properties in town.

Buzzy Places to See and Be Seen
Kingside, the hotel’s restaurant from the much-lauded chef Marc Murphy and cocktail guru Scott Gerber, keeps the city’s most discerning coming, thanks to its progressive New American cuisine and innovative cocktail programme. Enjoy dishes like olive oil-poached tuna with chanterelles and fennel. Then, head up to The Roof New York, the hotel’s rooftop bar, which is styled after an old-fashioned airliner, and is the perfect place to wind the night down.

Form and Function Combine
The Viceroy Central Park New York is plenty pretty; but it’s also full of comfort-enhancing perks. Guests enjoy mod-cons like high-tech in-room touches, custom-designed Sferra bed linens, and luxe bathroom products; plus city-appropriate amenities, including complimentary first rides on Uber (up to a $20 value).
